What engine options do you get?
Skoda offers the Fabia with an all-petrol engine line-up – with two units to choose from. There is either the naturally-aspirated 1.0-litre MPI unit that develops 74bhp or the 1.0-litre TSI turbo offering that comes in two states of tune – 94bhp or 109bhp.
Both the MPI and 94bhp TSI options come with a five-speed manual transmission, while the top-end TSI 109bhp offering is available with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. All models are front-wheel drive.
What specifications are there?
Customers get the choice of five different trims – S, SE, Colour Edition, SE L and Monte Carlo and each model incorporates Skoda’s innovative Simply Clever features. For the base S spec, the Fabia is fitted with 15-inch steel wheels, LED daytime running lights, fabric upholstery, front assist braking system, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment setup with DAB radio and Bluetooth, electric front windows and a stop/start system – while useful extras, such as cruise control and parking sensors can be fitted.
Higher-end options come with improved infotainment systems, climate control, larger alloy wheels, a leather sports steering wheel, LED head and taillights, a sporty bodykit and much more.

As this model is an update rather than an all-new car, Skoda has only been able to add a couple of systems over the previous Fabia. But that means it can now come with a driver fatigue sensor, blind spot detection with rear traffic alert and the front assist emergency braking system. Extras are available in the form of a reversing camera and sensors, as well as cruise control with speed limiter.
Can I customise it?
Skoda provides a considerable amount of colour and design options for customers to choose from – with two-tone bodywork and multiple alloy designs on offer. There are also a series of features available to enhance the technology in the Fabia, which many customers should be interested in looking at.
How much does the Fabia cost?
With prices starting from £12,840, the Fabia is well-priced in its segment – considering the equipment it has on offer from the base level. The sporty Monte Carlo offering starts at £16,785, and Skoda also provides an estate version, which starts from £13,860.
