Peugeot applies updates to 508 line-up

Changes have been made to both 508 and 508 SW models

Peugeot has updated its 508 and 508 SW, bringing a host of revisions to the interior and exterior.

Priced from £28,215 for the 508 and £29,815 for the SW version, the updated car now ditches Allure trim, with Active Premium, Allure Premium, GT, GT Premium and Peugeot Sport Engineered specifications remaining.

All cars now benefit from black door mirrors as opposed to body-coloured ones, while the front grille in cars finished in GT trim and above will now feature a dark chrome colour with a black surround.

The new 508 remains available with a variety of powertrains, including petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid. The latter is particularly clean, delivering CO2 emissions as low as 29g/km and an electric-only range of up to 39 miles.

Even entry-level models boast 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and a 180-degree parking camera, as well as front and rear parking sensors. All models also come with Peugeot’s i-Cockpit system with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an eight-inch central colour touchscreen.

Top-of-the-range GT Premium variants can be specified with either 18- or 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while inside there’s a leather-effect upholstery, with the front seats benefitting from electric adjustment and heating. A premium Focal speaker system is also included in this grade, as well as a 360-degree high-definition colour camera system and fully automated parking assistance.

Dynamic 508 Peugeot Sport Engineered models, meanwhile, come with 20-inch two-tone diamond-cut wheels and the choice of three exterior colour options. Active suspension is also included alongside adaptive cruise control and Alcantara-trimmed seats.
