We say The Ferrari 599 is simply an amazing supercarPerformance 621bhp is delivered from the same 6.0-litre V12 powerplant found in the Enzo. The 599 takes just 3.7 seconds to get to 62mph, and it will go on to top 205mph: Fast.Emissions The 599 emits 415g/km of CO2, but it is a supercar so this it to be expected. Between 11 and 15mpg is on offer, though this could easily go into single figures if you put your foot down.Driving The 599 can be set up to suit everyone by adjusting the traction and stability control via a dial on the steering wheel.Feel It’s very smooth especially considering the 200+mph it can reach. More pleasing than this though is the soundtrack the 599 produces; silent at low speed, roaring when you put your foot down.Space For what it is – a two-seater supercar - the 599 is very spacious, and also boasts a fairly big boot at 320 litres.Equipment Leather upholstery, climate control, Bluetooth, MP3 connectivity, heated door mirrors and powered seats are all fitted as standard on the 599, though you will pay a lot for any extras.Price The 599 is very expensive, as expected – prices start at well over £200K and climb to over £300K for the GTO. Running costs will be astronomical, but if you can afford the car, this shouldn’t be an issue. Residuals should be excellent.Quality Superb Ferrari build quality all-round.Safety Lateral airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and every safety acronym you can think of come as standard on the 599.Pros Fast, easy to drive, great standard kit, great build quality, lots of safety features.Cons Optional extras are very pricey, as is the car itself.Alternatives Lamborghini Murcielago, Lamborghini Aventador, Aston Martin DBS
