They are not only more comfortable with the chiller option but their careful shape and greater support makes them better for enthusiastic driving or long motorway journeys.Adjustment range is very good infront and does not compromise the legroom behind even in the standard wheelbase version I tested.The 2.7 diesel engine is one of the finest in any car, providing good pickup and quiet high speed performance allied to remarkable economy potential.The changes to the front grille and badge are more obvious than the subtle sweep of the sills.The mid-life makeover will keep the Jaguar XJ going for a few more years and should maintain the sales momentum which picked up last year.
