2020 Skoda Kamiq Scoutline revealed

Compact SUV sees more-rugged Scoutline treatment, though no word yet on if it will be offered in the UK.

Skoda has revealed a new trim for its Kamiq crossover, bringing a more rugged edge to the model.

This is the Kamiq Scoutline. It builds on the recently-introduced model with a host of additions to give it a look in line with its more off-road ready cars like the Karoq and Kodiaq Scout. Along with matt black wheel arch cladding, a number of silver-painted bodywork additions have been made to give the Scoutline a distinctive look.

17-inch ‘Braga’ alloy wheels are a standard-fit item, while 18-inch ‘Crater’ units available as an optional extra. Privacy glass and underbody protection is also fitted, with full-LED taillights and Scoutline badging rounding out the exterior look.

Inside the cabin, an ash-wood effect trim is included with a dark brushed design available optionally. Aluminium-design pedals are added as well, while a breathable material dubbed ‘ThermoFlux’ is used for the upholstery. Leather trim is used on the steering wheel, handbrake and gear stick.

White, red and orange LED ambient lighting is included too and features around the centre console, door pockets, handles and both footwells.

No word yet on if the Kamiq Scoutline will be arriving in the UK, though engines available include the choice of three petrols and a diesel. A natural gas-powered ‘CNG’ variant is also offered, but it’s incredibly unlikely such a powertrain would be offered in the UK.
