Lotus unveils more comfortable entry-level Evora GT410

The new version sits alongside the GT410 Sport.

Lotus has introduced a new more comfortable and road-focused version of its Evora sports car.

The Evora GT410 joins the GT410 Sport as a more ‘everyday’ model that comes with extra standard equipment and has an additional focus on comfort.

Priced from £82,900, which is £3,000 less than the Sport version, it features revised armrests and new storage bins, while the damping has been altered to improve real-world comfort on the road.  Despite that, Lotus promises it ‘still delivers an outstanding performance-oriented experience’.

New Michelin tyres are also used to give better all-weather grip, while the rear of the car has been adapted with a new large glass section in the tailgate to improve visibility. New colour choices have also been added to the options list.

Both Evora versions now feature Sparco sports seats, air-conditioning and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with cruise control, heated seats and rear parking sensors.

Elsewhere the British sports car maker has announced the reintroduction of optional Touring and Sports specification packs, with the former adding additional convenience and the latter bringing more driver-focused features.

It uses the same 3.5-litre supercharged V6, producing 410bhp, and enabling a 0-60mph time of four seconds and a top speed of 190mph.
