Order books have opened for the Mercedes-AMG GT S Roadster, which starts from £126,730 and completes the GT model line-up.
Sitting between the standard Roadster and top-end C version, the S is fitted with the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine found in every GT model – but here it produces 514bhp and 670Nm of torque.
The GT S Roadster will do 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 192mph – 4mph slower than the top-end GT C Roadster.
Standard equipment for the GT S includes a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift transmission, AMG performance exhaust system, the Airscarf neck heating system, 19-inch alloys and 20-inch rear-mounted alloys, AMG ride control suspension with adaptive damping, LED headlights and an electronically extending rear spoiler.
Also fitted with nappa leather upholstery and the Comand Online infotainment system, customers also get the free choice of three colours for the fabric folding roof – black, beige or red.

Mercedes-AMG also offers packages to enhance the model’s credentials, including the Premium line, Driving Assistance pack and the AMG Dynamic Plus extras.
The Mercedes- AMG GT S Roadster is on sale now and deliveries will begin in August.
