New Skoda Octavia SportLine revealed

Joining similar models of the Karoq, Kodiaq and Superb, the SportLine trim will be offered on both the hatch and estate versions of the Octavia.

Skoda has announced that it is adding a SportLine trim variant to its Octavia range.

Available on both the hatch and estate, SportLine adds a black design pack and additional equipment and sits just below the halo vRS models.

2019 Skoda Octavia SportLine

Customers can choose from two engines that both develop 147bhp – the petrol 1.5-litre version is offered with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the 2.0-litre diesel offering is paired to the seven-speed DSG.

On the outside, the SportLine comes with gloss black detailing on the front spoiler, grille, door mirrors and rear diffuser, while the hatch version also comes with a black rear spoiler. Black 18-inch alloy wheels with silver detailing, full LED headlights with adaptive front light system and LED daytime running lights are also included.

Inside, Skoda fits an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation and integrated Wi-Fi, sports seats and a leather multifunction sports steering wheel.

Prices for the Octavia SportLine start from £23,870 for the hatch with the petrol engine and manual transmission. The line-up tops out with the diesel estate model which starts from £27,860.
