Prices and specs announced for Audi RS6, RS7 and RSQ3 Sportback

Further details have been announced about three new RS performance models – the as the RS6, RS7 and RSQ3 Sportback.

Pricing has been revealed for three of Audi’s flagship performance RS models – the RS6, RS7 and RSQ3 Sportback.

We’ll start with arguably the most popular out of the trio – the RS6 Avant estate, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Unveiled in August, this is the range-topping version of the A6, with its £92,750 starting price matching that status.

The RS6 is offered in three trim levels – RS6, Carbon Black and Vorsprung. It unsurprisingly comes laden with standard kit – including Matrix LED headlights with laser light, adaptive RS sports suspension, 21-inch alloy wheels and leather sports seats – with the front two being both heated and ventilated.

Opting for the Carbon Black grade adds 22-inch alloy wheels, carbon interior and exterior accents and additional leather Alcantara and leather on the cabin. Meanwhile at the top of the range the Vorsprung adds an increased top speed, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera to name but a few features. Carbon Black and Vorsprung cost from £100,650 and £109,250 respectively.

The trim levels are mirrored on the ‘coupe-like’ RS7, which costs from £97,050 in standard trim, £104,950 in Carbon Black form and £113,550 in Vorsprung trim.

Both the RS6 and RS7 feature the same turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol unit, which produces 592bhp and 800Nm of torque. That means 0-60mph can be reached in just 3.4 seconds, along with a limited top speed of 155mph, or 174mph on higher trim levels.

Elsewhere in the Audi line-up, further details have been announced for the new RSQ3 Sportback ‘coupe’ SUV, which is priced from £53,600 in standard trim, which features RS sports suspension, LED headlights, a digital Virtual Cockpit and heated leather RS sports seats.

Next is the ‘Audi Sport’ Edition’ trim, which gains Matrix LED headlights, a gloss black styling kit and 21-inch alloy wheels. This costs from £57,950, while the flagship Vorsprung trim costs from £61,500 – adding revised 21-inch alloy wheels, enhanced connected features and wireless charging to name but a few features.

The RSQ3 features the same famed five-cylinder 2.5-litre unit as the RS3 – producing 395bhp and 480Nm of torque, which means a 0-60mph time of 4.3 seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph.

All three models are available to order now, with first deliveries expected in January 2020.
