Fitted with seven seats to keep it as practical as possible, the Kodiaq vRS is also given sporty design upgrades such as 20-inch alloy wheels, sports bumpers, gloss black grille and mirror caps, red brake calipers and dual exhaust pipes.

Inside, the driver and front passenger sit in Alcantara-trimmed sports seats with contrast stitching, while the vRS is the first Skoda to come with the customisable Virtual Cockpit display as standard.

The screen that sits in the instrument binnacle also comes with a model-specific sport mode that puts the speedometer in the middle.

Dynamic chassis control and progressive steering are also fitted as standard, while the vRS also comes with a dynamic sound booster and front parking sensors.

Driven by the most powerful diesel engine ever fitted to a Skoda production car – a twin-turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder – the vRS can get from 0-60mph in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 136mph. The engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive.
