Making the decision to buy a car is one that should take proper thought and planning, especially when you’re spending a large amount of money and making a long time commitment to a model.
To ensure you make the right decision, it’s recommended that you take the car you want on a test drive, and some manufacturers even offer a 48-hour test drive so you can get a real taste for the car.
Here, we take a look at the brands that offer these extended test drives and what is required.
Ford
Running from August 1 to September 30, Ford offers two SUVs up for a test drive – the EcoSport and Kuga – for public customers. Commercial customers can also test the Transit Custom or the Ranger pick-up over two days.
Mercedes-Benz
The German manufacturer is offering its C-Class and E-Class vehicles up for a 48-hour test drive from August 1 to August 31 – with customers able to choose from each Class’s saloon, estate, coupe and cabriolet.
MINI
Available for the Countryman, Clubman, Hatch and Convertible, a 48-hour test drive allows potential customers to find the right Mini for them. The offer to drive the retro-styled model over an extended period doesn’t currently have an end date.
