The Volvo EX90, scheduled for production in late 2023, represents Volvo's pioneering move into dedicated electric vehicles, succeeding its established seven-seat XC90. Drawing inspiration from both the XC90's design and the flair of the Polestar sub-brand, the EX90 showcases modern touches such as a blanked-off grille, aerodynamic wheels, and flush-fitting door handles for improved efficiency. It boasts a 107kWh battery, offering a promising range of up to 364 miles and advanced 250kW DC charging capabilities. Notably, its bi-directional charging feature, still under refinement, may soon enable energy sharing back to the grid or other Volvo EVs.
